All the tips and stationary you need for a productive 2018
Friday, 29 December 2017
Monday, January 1st calls for a fresh start and a new year full of being productive. I like to think over the years, through blogging and being a student I've learnt the tricks of the trade of getting the job done.

I love dressing up this time of year. I may not be going to the fanciest of parties, but I will always find a reason to dress up. Heck, last year I went to the pub in the sparkliest, fanciest dress I've ever owned and I bloody loved it. Christmas and New Years is the one time I feel like I can go extra on the outfit, and I don't care how OTT I look. I'll go to the supermarket in my ball gown if I feel like it.

Yellow chair and table set // grey corner sofa // plant pots // copper plant pot // picnic blanket // blue bench // rattan daybed
This beautiful weather has got my lusting for allll of the evenings spent out in the garden with a barbie and some bevs'. Although I'm totally not in the position to be purchasing gardenware yet (my own house would probably be a good start), there's nothing wrong with a little lusting right? First stop is some comfy furniture, and Fishpools Garden Section have totally got that covered. Anyone else seen Zoella's new crib and that massive corner sofa? So dreamy. Instead of sofas, I had a browse at their daybeds, the kind of thing I can totally imagine in some foreign sunny country. At least with the design I've chosen, it's a bit more waterproof for when the English summer decides to end!! I loved the idea of introducing lots of colour into the garden and the M&S table and chair and sofa brings just that. Throw in a plant-print blanket and some adorable plant pots and you're good to go!
What's your fave gardenware?

I love putting together a good wishlist, and today I'm here with a Summer accessories one! The weather we've been having has been sooo beautiful recently it's got me lusting on everything I'm going to need for my Summer plans. I've got a field trip to Spain, V festival with Jamie and then we're both off to Gran Canaria to end the summer off! All my plans definitely deserve a few new accessories...

Cluse Leather Watch // Cluse Mesh Watch // CT Pillow Talk Lipstick // Nike Leggings // RI Purse // Frame Quote // Duvet Cover // Zoeva Rose Golden Brush Set
Uuuurh, how do I turn 20 this month? I am not ready to adult. To help ease the thought of this, I decided to fix myself up a little bday wishlist.

Spring's trends are well underway, and gingham is most certainly in this year! Just a few days ago I picked up the cutest cut-out shoulder top from Primark in a gingham print, and I'm already pondering on the web for more pieces to add to my collection..

One of the trends I've been absolutely loving lately, other than the whole embroided thing, is ruffles and frills. When they first hit the shops I was a bit sceptical, it is such a feminine trend, is it too feminine for me? Those thoughts didn't last long though - if you follow me on instagram you'll know that I caved pretty quickly and bought this super cute pink flute sleeve jumper.

I haven't done a skincare wishlist for aaaages! I've actually been really happy with my skin recently, minus the odd period spots it's been keeping nice and clear which is something I haven't experienced in years. I feel like winter is a time for focusing on skincare though, it's cold outside and our skin takes a bit of a beating.

It's February, which means valentines! I love Valentines - I think it's brilliant to be able to have a day to celebrate the love for your special someone, or if you're single, I think it's an amazing time to celebrate some self-love!! Jamie and I never do anything big for valentines gifts - I'm happy with some flowers and chocolates, although I thought I'd put together a little gift guide for anyone wondering what to buy the women in their life, or if you're alone, what to spoil yourself with!!

A few weeks ago in the sales I did something I massively regret. I walked past a pair of rose gold boots on sale for a tenner. Ten pounds. I'm still not quite sure why I did that. To help me deal with my stupidity and this mistake, I've decided to make a little booties wishlist. Unfortunately none are as cheap as a blooming tenner (yep, ten little pounds, still kicking myself) they are all just as stunning.

Men? The hardest people to buy for. Unfortunately, my family is mostly men so I struggle with this issue very often! I feel like Men are a lot harder to buy 'safe' for too, but my best bets are boxers, or soapy-washy-well groomed stuff! What are your safest options for gifts for men?

Every time winter comes around, it's inevitable that I find myself lusting over a new coat. This year I am loving the puffer jackets trend and after coming to terms with the cost of a North Face one, I've turned towards the high-street takes. How cosy do all of these look?!

Online browsing is dangerous, but even more so when you're a student. Morning lectures leave me with whole afternoons of boredom, leading to me gawping at clothes, shoes and accessories which I can't have. Topshop has always been a favourite of mine - the prices are sometimes a bit steep but you can't fault them for their fashion! I had a look at the new in page and picked a few of my favourite. The khaki obsession has made another appearance in the block coloured top, but a few different pieces are in there too like the super funky holographic clutch which would be perfect for my nights out at uni!

Every girl is a sucker for shoes, and as much as I love a good pair of heels, I will always have a much bigger love for trainers. Comfort first. Asos is my go-to for shoes, with it's very often student discounts and super easy free delivery and returns service. Today, just to remind me of my very poor student financial status I've decided to make up a little wishlist to feast your eyes on.
I need to invest in another pair of converse - I think everyone needs a pair! I love the subtle shimmer in this black and white pair. My fifth pair of trainers on this wishlist have got to be my favourite - the copper toe is so cute! However, admittedly a bit too bold for me! Finally, this puma pair are the loveliest mint green shade which would be perfect for summer.

All these new autumn pieces are soon to destroy my bank account. I think Autumn trends are going to be my favourite of this year, I just adore layering and all the warm tones, I'm especially loving this fur jacket.. how perfect?!

The blogosphere has played it's tricks on me once again. This time, I'm lusting after a duster coat. I can tell they'd be the perfect transitional piece into Autumn, as a nice little cover up thats not quite a coat but warmer than a kimono. You can also see that I am certainly in a monochrome mood, and if it's not black and white it is extreme bright colour. What do you think of my picks?

Summer seems to well and truly gone here in the UK, the colder nights and rainy days have got me crawling the internet for my autumn/winter wardrobe. As much as I adore summer sun, there's something about winter, layering the clothing and snuggling up by the fire with a hot chocolate, it's hard to beat! This year I'm on the hunt for a new super cosy coat and this parka from River Island looks ideal. I'm also lusting for a duster coat at the moment for the transition into autumn while it's not quite warm enough for a coat and this monochrome number is ideal.
What are you most excited for this autumn/winter?

The idea of co-ords has, as expected, grown on me and I am now practically drooling over the many co-ords I am finding online. The way I look at it is that a co-ord is basically 3 outfits, and is therefore 100% worth emptying your bank account for. You of course get the majorly easy outfit where the only decision is what shoes to wear, then you have the top half of the co-ord for another look, and the bottom half of the co-ord for yet another outfit. Totally justified, right?

Hello new blog series! Ok, so seeing as my exams will soon be over and both my social life and free time will return, I thought why not do a new series for my blog. The idea is that every week I will be posting a new in piece which I am lusting for!
This week I am drooling over this Palm print Bandeau Skort Playsuit. I love the shape of this, especially the neckline! Wack on some wedges and some big sunnies and it's the perfect summer party outfit!
Saturday, 5 April 2014
The warmer weather we've had recently has really got me into that summer mood, so I decided to do a cheeky wishlist. Playsuits are a summer staple, they're not too tight on the skin, comfortable and easy to style! My favourites from this list have to be 2 and 4. Number 2 is a print I have completely fallen for from Topshop, they also have it in a Joni Jeans version and I have a feeling I may have to purchase them soon! I really like how number 4 looks more like a skirt, it's a pretty print and I like the cutout on the back too.
What are your favourites?
