New in: the Zara jumper

Sunday, 15 January 2017

Last week I popped into Zara while I was back in Norwich for the evening and nabbed this beauty. It came in both light pink and grey, but I opted for the version with a bit more colour. I love the sleeves on this and feel like it's going to be the perfect spring transition piece!! I also picked up the cutest shirt in the sale which has lots of little bugs over it, I'm sure it'll feature in an ootd on the blog soon!

NYC HAUL

Naked Palette - Sephora // Jumper - H&M // Trainers - Footlocker // NYPD Tee - NYC GIFTS // Pooh - Disney // Underwear - Victoria's Secret

You can't go to New York City without making any purchases can you? Although the majority of our time was spent doing touristy things, we did manage to squeeze in a little time to spend some dollar. Of course, I had to buy some new trainers with the price being a lot less across the pond! I've been after some casual ones for Uni for a while and the Nike Theas are perfect. I also (finally!) bought the naked palette. I'm super happy with the naked 3 palette I already have but have been dying to get my hands on the original for years. Sephora was a beautiful shop. Next I got a cute blue jumper from H&M. I love the lace detailing. From VS I got a beautiful khaki set, the bra is racer back with a lovely lace back. My mum found this cute little pooh bear in the Disney Store which is the perfect size for when I go away on holidays! Finally, I had to get a NYPD tee to remember the trip didn't I?!

P.S On Sunday I move to my new home at University. I'm so scared but excited to start a new adventure. I have a few posts scheduled but bear with me if I'm a bit vacant for a while, I'll be back to normal asap x

Haul: New Look

Friday, 5 September 2014

Now that I'm a working woman with a flow of money into my bank account I've found myself internet shopping a lot more. And the problem I have is that I can't buy just one or two items. For example, in this order I spent originally £300 on 20+ items. Somebody needs to lock my bank card up and throw away the key. Although, thankfully for my allowance I do always intend on sending the majority back. Does anyone else do this or am I just awful at making decisions and cutting down those 30 items in my basket to 10?!

Anyway, thankfully I was disappointed with most of my order so I ended up buying just these 7 items. The boots featured on my Autumn Wishlist and I know they're not going to come off my feet throughout autumn, I've been after a few dresses which I can wear in the winter with some tights and boots and both of these checked numbers will be ideal! Finally, I fell into the monochrome trap and got 3 tops too. I love the floral one with the hint of neon yellow in it and the ribbed neck gives it a sport luxe vibe.

You'll also notice that I've had a bit of a blog make-over! I've got a new design as well as a domain - you'll now find me at lucy-cole.co.uk rather than lucycole.blogspot.com! What do you think?

Mini Birthday Haul

Saturday, 31 May 2014

Last Friday (23rd) was my 17th Birthday and I got a few bits which I thought I'd share with you all. As I grow older I find I end up asking for money a lot more which of course unfortunately means less unwrapping (boo!). There's always that bit of excitement and mystery with unwrapping presents! Anyway, seeing as it was my 17th my main present was driving lessons, I even had one on the day, and I didn't crash, which is a massive success in my eyes. I also got a few bits of clothing including a pretty blue cropped lace top and a gooorgeous pair of white joni jeans, and if you know me, you'll know I adore joni jeans, I practically live in them! I also got a few bits of underwear and pajamas but they weren't so pretty to photograph! I also got a beautiful pink purse from River Island after having enough of my old one and feeling like a change. As always, I got some more Barry M nail varnish to add to my ridiculous collection, I feel as if I may have to have some therapy for my addiction soon. And finally, I got two books and a the Catching Fire DVD. I don't tend to read much in my own time, but when on holiday I become a giant bookworm. My mum got me a John Green book after I enjoyed The Fault In Our Stars, as well as one by Sophie McKenzie, my all time favourite author. I'm not normally a film person but I became obsessed with The Hunger Games after loving the book trilogy I ended up seeing the first film in the cinemas twice I loved it so much!

Seeing as my birthday was slap bang in the middle of exam season, I am celebrating in a few weeks with a party with all my girlfriends, so I am VERY excited to get out and spend that money I got on a brand new pair of heels and new outfit, and maybe even some cheeky make-up too!

Haul: Winter Preparation

MIDI DRESS & CORAL JUMPER - INTERNACIONALE // BURGANDY JUMPER - PRIMARK // JEANS - TOPSHOP // BLACK & WHITE CARDIGAN - H&M // FACE WASH - SUPERDRUG

A while back I had a real urge to go on spending spree as now I have a reason to always buy clothes - sixth form! I'm actually surpised how I managed to get all of this for just under £60 (not including the jeans)!! I particularly wanted some more knitwear because who doesn't love cosy jumpers/cardigans?! I bought a black midi dress from Internacionale for only £15 - they're super easy to wear and perfect for those 'cba' days! I also got a coral three quarter sleeve jumper for the same price - I picked it up instantly because it's very similar to topshop's and coral is my colour! I deffo needed some more colour in my wardrobe too. The burgandy jumper is from Primark for a mere £8 - I wanted some other colours but none were particularly nice and this colour is my all time fave to wear for autumn! I finally got mself a big knit cardigan from H&M for £20 - It's zip up rather than buttoned but I loved the mixed knit of it. The jeans are the Joni Jeans from topshop - I'm deffo going to live in jeans this winter so decided it's probably best to get another colour. Finally, the face wash was to replace my exfoliate scrub from body shop which has run out!
