I updated my room

MIRROR & WORLD MAP - AMAZON // DESK & THROW - IKEA // CHAIR - EBAY // CUSHION - JOHN LEWIS // DUVET - SAINSBURYS

I made my new bedroom look pretty and geography-student like. White furniture looks great but is a pain in the ass to clean! But double bed life is great, big thanks to my older brother for moving out and allowing me to upgrade.

TOP - TOPSHOP // SKIRT - URBAN OUTFITTERS

I like this top very much. It's fun having a panda in your pocket all day.

I haven't posted in a while

I am awful at blogging.

Yesterday the weather was beautiful and I took a break out of revision to get a bite to eat with my grandparents. The food was yummy and now I'm regretting not having dessert.

SHIRT - URBAN OUTFITTERS // COAT - RIVER ISLAND // BOOTS - BOOHOO

It's back to sixth form with the first pretty chilled term over and done with, the hard work and lockdown for courswork and revision all starts here. The first day back posed a struggle for me simply to see daylight before the hours of at least 8 o'clock but luckily I only had just the one lesson! Sixth form wear is always a constant issue for me. Do I aim look nice or do I go for comfort? Usually, as you can see in this case, it's the latter. This is a checked shirt I got in the UO Boxing Day Sales. The online sales treated me well this year, but definitely not my bank account balance. I'm now on a spending ban until further notice!

REVIEW: SOLEIL TAN DE CHANEL

Monday, 22 December 2014

*play dramatic music* it's time.. the review of the holy product of the blogosphere, the soleil tan de chanel. My wonderful friends bought this for me back in the Summer and for weeks I was petrified of ruining it and using it up! I will forever be afraid of my favourite (and expensive) products running out. However, I have since used it and ruined the beautiful smooth whipped top and have been reaching for it a lot more often now the colds kicked in. I apply this after my foundation with a buffing brush and gently buff it into my cheeks to give a bit of warmth and colour. It blends with ease and isn't too orange nor too dark for my skin shade. In terms of lasting it seems to last just as long as my foundation, ideal for day to day wear. I've really been impressed with it and despite it breaking the bank at £32 I think it's a perfect 'treat yourself' gift for every woman out there!
