Monthly Roundup: April
Sunday, 30 April 2017
April has got to be one of the quickest months so far this year for me. The end of March saw the end of my second semester at uni so lucky for me I've spent 4 weeks at home, my favourite place to be! I've been working quite a lot but I'm not going to be paid until May which is a pain but will be SO nice having a big wedge of dollar put in the bank ready for Summer! Other than that, I've been busy writing essays and spending time with Jamie, friends and family.

Seriously, where has March gone?! It certainly seems to have been the quickest month we've had so far. I've been so busy this month with Uni assignments my blog has had to take a back seat. Lucky for me I managed to get a load of posts scheduled at the beginning of the month so the posts have still been coming twice a week! I'm so happy I've stuck with my schedule for 3 months now!
Not a lot happened in March, I've hung out with friends and been getting organised for my final 2nd year assignments at uni. At the beginning of the month I had the most amazing day at Derby Day - the universitys annual sports day if you like. Every year we play arch rivals Essex in every sport and it's such a fun day. I played netball which was such an intense game but we came out with the win, then enjoyed the rest of the day in the sunshine drinking - so many good vibes!!
I'm now back home for 4 weeks for Easter, and as much as I'd like to focus on my blog, I have 4 essays to write along with working practically full time and socialising with my loved ones in between! I hate having to put blogging to the backburner but hopefully I can rustle together a few posts to keep the schedule going!! Not much is planned for April, apart from work work work in every sense!
What did you get up to this month? What have you got planned for April?

Another month over.. February has been a great one for me, despite not a lot happening! A few weekends ago Jamie and I celebrated Valentines where he treated me with my first ever Spa day, which was ah-maz-ing. Another massage is needed pronto. We ended the day my favourite way - in bed with Dominos pizza. Talking of pizza, I have definitely consumed way too much of it this month. I've had a few get togethers with groups at uni which inevitably end in pizza nights. I think a detox in March may be needed.

January is always an odd month. It's a new year, an opportunity for a fresh start and time to get stuck back into everything. I spent the first half of the month at home in Ipswich with my family. Half my time was spent doing both uni work and earning some money working in the bakery at Tesco, and the other half was spent spending time with my family and Jamie who had some time off work. As much as I love being able to come back home between uni and having some time to relax, I was really eager this year to get some work done and earn a bit of money to save up for a holiday, so working has been great.
