What did I do this Summer?

Friday, 2 September 2016

Having finished University late May, and officially moving out of Halls in June, I have had quite possibly the longest summer I've ever had. Yet, somehow it's also ended up being the busiest and most productive and rewarding summer too! I had a couple of weeks to rest before I jumped into my Summer Internship I had managed to bag back in May.

Summer wedding

Monday, 29 August 2016

On Saturday I had my first and only wedding of the summer, the marriage of my cousin Sarah to Alex! It was such a beautiful little church wedding and an old barn reception, ultimate wedding goals! I wore a pinky peachy dress from Asos, paired with my Missguided clutch and New Look heels, although by the end of the night these had swapped to a much more comfortable pair of sandals!!

life recently #23

another valentines spent with this amazing man // 2 weeks in spain booked with my favourite // old sibling love
fantastic first BUCS season with the netball girls // happy birthday mum // jamie got me a pink controller cover!
shotley front // reunited with some of the girls // out in norwich with jamie('s bum)
norwich // shotley again // cute little bath bomb

I've had a lot of fun these past few weeks! Semester two of uni came to an end, along with the BUCS netball season, Jamie and I finally booked our first holiday away together and I've spent lots of time at home with old friends and my family.

Comfort zone

Dress - ASOS // Heels - Office

I've been a truly awful blogger lately. I've been back at home for nearly 3 weeks now but just haven't had the drive to post. I've been busy writing essays, starting my revision for summer exams and spending time with my loved ones. I hate not being able to keep consistent with my blogging but I guess that's just the way I work at the moment!

This is what I wore for a night out on campus when Jamie came up a month or two ago. It's definitely a bit more daring for me but I loved jumping out of my comfort zone and I'd love to do it a bit more often!

I'm back to uni on Friday for a fieldtrip to Devon, then have 3 more weeks of lectures before exam season officially starts. It's safe to say I'm super nervous! I can't believe my first year is almost over with!

The tie-up

Saturday, 20 February 2016

top - primark // skirt - asos // shoes - office

The tie-up trend has definitely been a favourite of mine this autumn/winter, and I'm excited to see it continue into spring/summer. Primark has been my favourite shop as a student, and I loved this top so much that I got it in a second colour too! Their homeware is looking so gorgeous right now, I can't wait to spend some money on it for some goodies for my new room next year! We're signing for our house today, I can't wait. Posts may be a bit sparse in the next week, it always seems with my course you're free from work for weeks then all of a sudden everything comes at once! My deadlines are all in the upcoming week so I won't be quiet for long!
