Jumpsuit - New Look // Heels - Primark

I wore this to my best friends birthday party last Saturday. I found it in New Look a few weeks back and I couldn't resist it, costing just £23 which I thought was so reasonable! I am in love with the palm tree print this summer and the monochrome makes it so easy to wear. I went for bright red nails and I know if I could get away with it, I would totally wear bold red lips too. It's one of those pieces of clothing that doesn't need any accessorizing like a pretty necklace, it works perfectly alone. I also can't wait to style it down for a more day look too! What do you think?

Chi Chi Harriet Dress* - ChiChi // Heels - Primark

I am so in love with this ChiChi dress, and I wish I had a prom to wear it to! Prom season recently began and I am sat on my facebook homepage stalking friends of friends photos purely to drool over gorgeous dresses! Being year 12, we don't have a prom at the end of the year, which sucks!At our school and sixth form the big prom is year 11, this is where you pull all the stocks out! Then there's a slightly more casual one at the end of year 13 which I'm super excited for. This dress is just so pretty, I love the lace detailing and sweetheart neckline (ooh look at that fancy dress term - someones been watching too much say yes to the dress on TLC!)

When I wear this dress from Sugarhill Boutique, I feel like I should be having a picnic in a big field of flowers somewhere. I love the off the shoulder style of dresses, although I definitely could have done with ironing this first! I'm still debating over this peachy colour on me, I feel like it doesn't quite suite my skin tone, but it is gorgeous nonetheless.

In other news, on Friday I finally got the call I'd been waiting for for almost a year now! After endless failed interviews, I've finally bagged myself a job! I am so happy to finally be earning money for myself and hopefully it'll help my confidence grow too!

Where has the sunshine gone?! It was absolutely gorgeous last week, but the sun seems to have disappeared and left us with clouds, muggyness and that not-quite-hot-enough but not-quite-cold-enough weather! I've lived in my jeans for sixth form this week, I'm desperate to get my summer clothes on! I also received this bag last week, and it was just in time. I'm fed up of my backpack for school and was after a new bag which was an ideal size. My Zara office city bag, although beautiful, broke after only a few months and was also surprisingly unpractical! This bag from LYDC is literally the perfect size - there's enough space for some books, a folder, a lunch and a few other necessities! I am head over heels for it!

I also need some help from you technology geeks - how can I avoid losing the quality of my photos when cropping and stitching them together?!

Birthday Celebrations

Extremely sorry for the picture-heavy post, I'm just eager to show you guys everything! On Saturday, I finally celebrated my 17th birthday with all of my bestest girlfriends..

Of course, an OOTN was necessary! I was hoping to find a dress a bit more dressy, rather than one as casual as this skater dress, but I'm still super happy with this, which I got in Westfield a few weeks back. The print and colour is perfect for summer! Alice was also super impressed with her bargain playsuit from Primark so I feel it's necessary to brag about it in this post! Only £8!

My mums friend also made me some stunning cupcakes, which are just too pretty to eat! They seemed to go down a treat though, so much easier than a big birthday cake! If you're interested in her company you can find her facebook here and take a look at all the other amazing designs she does!
