Winter Skincare Saviour: Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish

Friday, 13 January 2017

For Christmas I finally got the much heard of Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish. It's something I'd had on my wishlist for a while but being a student, I tend to stick to the cheapest skincare possible! After all the raving on blogs in the last few years I had seen on this, I knew I had to try it!!

At first the scent of this put me off. In the past year I've stripped back my skincare and used really basic products that have very little scent to them. I don't know what it is, but I hate using products that smell strong, I like it to feel natural. This has a scent of ecualyptus, which I know does wonders for your skin, and the scent does fade quickly so it was an issue I got over pretty quickly! Despite this, I've actually really loved using it! I've used it in the morning and at night to take my makeup off and it's left my skin feeling really fresh and clean! I was actually surprised at how well it removed my makeup at the end of the day!

I feel like it's a bit too early to comment on it's full effect on my skin, but so far, so good! I don't seem to have had any major breakouts for a while now (touch wood). I'm really looking forward to continuing to use this to see how it's working for me a few months down the line!

Do you use Cleanse and Polish? What do you think of it?

Wishlist: Boots

 1 // 2 // 3

 4 // 5 // 6

 7 // 8 // 9

A few weeks ago in the sales I did something I massively regret. I walked past a pair of rose gold boots on sale for a tenner. Ten pounds. I'm still not quite sure why I did that. To help me deal with my stupidity and this mistake, I've decided to make a little booties wishlist. Unfortunately none are as cheap as a blooming tenner (yep, ten little pounds, still kicking myself) they are all just as stunning.

There's one small thing that's really annoying me in all of these pictures, 5 gold stars if you spot what it is!!...

Have a nosey: Room tour

Thursday, 5 January 2017

I love having a nosey at other peoples rooms, and my room at home in Ipswich is something that I'm actually really proud of! Being the youngest of 3 siblings, I had the smallest room of the lot. But when my oldest brother moved out for university a few years back, I was allowed to move into his room and redecorate! It took a very long time but I'm so happy with how it looks now. It's such a bright, room, perfect for working in. I spend pretty much all my time in here!

Super easy Cinnamon Swirls

Tuesday, 3 January 2017

On New Years Day, Jamie and I, being the greedy pigs we are, made the easiest cinnamon swirls in the world! They were so quick and easy, and so delicious I felt they were worthy of a spot on my blog!
