Wishlist: Gingham

Wednesday, 5 April 2017

Spring's trends are well underway, and gingham is most certainly in this year! Just a few days ago I picked up the cutest cut-out shoulder top from Primark in a gingham print, and I'm already pondering on the web for more pieces to add to my collection..

Wishlist: Ruffles and Frills

Thursday, 23 February 2017

One of the trends I've been absolutely loving lately, other than the whole embroided thing, is ruffles and frills. When they first hit the shops I was a bit sceptical, it is such a feminine trend, is it too feminine for me? Those thoughts didn't last long though - if you follow me on instagram you'll know that I caved pretty quickly and bought this super cute pink flute sleeve jumper.

Wishlist: Boots

 7 // 8 // 9

A few weeks ago in the sales I did something I massively regret. I walked past a pair of rose gold boots on sale for a tenner. Ten pounds. I'm still not quite sure why I did that. To help me deal with my stupidity and this mistake, I've decided to make a little booties wishlist. Unfortunately none are as cheap as a blooming tenner (yep, ten little pounds, still kicking myself) they are all just as stunning.

All these new autumn pieces are soon to destroy my bank account. I think Autumn trends are going to be my favourite of this year, I just adore layering and all the warm tones, I'm especially loving this fur jacket.. how perfect?!

Wishlist: Co-ord dreaming

Wednesday, 28 May 2014

L-R: 1 // 2 // 3 // 4 // 5 // 6
The idea of co-ords has, as expected, grown on me and I am now practically drooling over the many co-ords I am finding online. The way I look at it is that a co-ord is basically 3 outfits, and is therefore 100% worth emptying your bank account for. You of course get the majorly easy outfit where the only decision is what shoes to wear, then you have the top half of the co-ord for another look, and the bottom half of the co-ord for yet another outfit. Totally justified, right?

My Primark SS14 Picks

Sunday, 2 March 2014

I know this is massively overdue seeing as Primarks SS14 collection was released early January, but I had an urge to do some kind of fashion post so here is the result. I'm a big fan of Primark as is everybody on the blogosphere and probably planet, and am actually known to take a trips to Westfield Shopping Centre in London purely to go to Primark because it's so much bigger than my local one. I'm always excited about Primarks collections and this one certainly hasn't disappointed, it seems the store is just getting better and better in terms of being on trend.

I have to say my top two of the lot probably have to be the Palm Tree Scuba Skirt and the Daisy Print Shift Dress - we all know I'm a sucker for daisies and I just thought the skirt was something that just screams summer! It kind of reminds me of something you'd find in Motel Rocks. I know a lot of the SS14 collection is already available in stores so I'm definitely planning another trip to Westfield soon.

What's your favourite?

Wishlist: Shoe Envy

Sunday, 9 February 2014

1 // 2 // 3 // 4 // 5 // 6

Last week I popped into town to buy myself a new pair of cheap heels for a party and found some gorgeous plain black wedges from Primark for a mere £12! While in town searching I found many, many shoes which just need to fall onto my shoe rack soon. New Look particularly impressed me with their sandals and made me very excited for Summer, I LOVE the chunkly soles and the monochrome style in number 1. I still clearly haven't got over the cut-out trend which Topshop and Missguided are hitting the nail on the head with at the moment! I just wish I didn't have such narrow feet!

What are your favourites?!

Phase Eight Wishlist*

Monday, 23 September 2013

*This is a sponsered post

Recently I was contacted and introduced to a brand found in John Lewis I hadn't originally ever heard of - Phase Eight. After a little browse online at the collection it made me crave for a big 'red carpet glamour' night. All a girl ever wants is to up once in a while, put on that stunning dress, those sparkly, painful-but-totally-worth-it heels, do the big hair and smoky eyes and finish the look with a bold lippy. Unfortunately being a student it's very rare that I ever get those occasions so I decided to share a little wishlist for you for finding the perfect pieces for the glam look.

They have the most perfect dresses, my favourite being the pink lace cocktail dress. The colour is absolutely gorgeous and I can see it looking great with a neutral, light wash of make-up, a silver clutch and silver heels to match.

What dress is you favourite? How would you style it?

BOOTS // SHIRT DRESS // JEANS // JUMPER // SCARF // CLUTCH

I like to think of myself as a summer girl, but this year I'm strangely really looking forward to autumn, the month of layering, cosy jumpers and hot chocolates in front of the fire. It's also the first season of Autumn I offically have a reason to fill up my wardrobe with new clothes seeing as I'm no longer wearing uniform. Tartan is definitely my favourite trend for A/W, and I'm desperately after a nice tartan scarf to chuck on top of all outfits. I loved this checked shirt dress, I can imagin it being a perfect grungy outfit paired with tights and some docs! I've actually ordered the boots, I saw them a while back and fell in love, not only with the boots but with the price and I was devastated when they went off the website, so obviously the minute I saw them back online I grabbed them while I could. The jeans are a necessity - I'm pretty sure all winter I will be living in my new favourite Joni Jeans, so I definitely need a black pair so people don't start thinking I don't wash my clothes..

Trainers Envy

Thursday, 8 August 2013

VANS // ADIDAS GAZELLE // NIKE BLAZER // PUMA CLASSIC // NIKE SATIRE // NIKE AIR

Recently I've been stocking up on clothes for when I start Sixth Form in September. I've been after a pair of low top trainers for a while because I find all my jeans, although skinny, are still baggy at the ankle and just look awful with my high top nike blazers and converse. I'm pretty sure my skinny jeans will be on me for 90% of the winter so I'm justifying treating myself on some trainers for that very reason. I adore the Nike air's, they remind me of the typical 'chav' but I can't help but love the look of them, especially with the mom jeans. I also thought these Vans were so cool, I can never resist a bit of galaxy/nebula print, although at the moment I'm feeling a bit more classic, either the Adidas Gazelles or Puma Classics, probably both in black. What do you think?

Ebay Wishlist #3

Thursday, 25 April 2013

SHOES//BAG//SUNGLASSES//JUMPER//CROP TOP

So many of my current favourites in one wishlist, arghh!! Let's start with the obvious one, the shoes. Studs/spikes, that is all. Secondly, I am loving these designer fake tops/jumpers at the moment, like the popular celine tee and rottweiler jumper dupe. I hate it when people try to wear expensive brands and act like they're real but it's so obvious they're fake, whereas this trend puts a whole different twist on it. I just adore the vintage shades, my brother has my dads very old ray bans which are similar to these and they're just SO gorgeous! I find myself stealing them every summer. Have you found any ebay bargains recently?

In Love With Fashion

Friday, 8 March 2013

1/2/3/4/5/6/7/8/9

Recently e-tailpr teamed up with In Love With Fashion to run a competition to win £200 in the store! Being myself, I can't resist a good competition, especially when a clothes voucher is involved! We were asked to make a wishlist and I never expected to struggle so much! In Love With Fashion has some amazing items which are perfect for Summer, they're very up to date with the latest trends and I'm very impressed!

I never expected to pick so many lace pieces in this, I just have a bit of an obsession I guess?! I have to say, my favourite item of all nine has to be the draped back dress, it's so simple but can be super sexy too. I also love the floral bomber. I'm currently on the hunt for a bomber for spring which can be put on for a bit of a cover-up and for warmth purposes, and with the spring/summer floral trend, this one is perfect. I can imagine it with a pretty plain outfit to bring a bit of excitement! Finally, the playsuit in number eight is so simple but I've seen a lot of people rocking these recently, pairing it with a belt to bring it in at the waist, it just looks so sophisticated!

If you fancy entering this competition you can do so here.

RIVER ISLAND SPRING PREVIEW

Thursday, 31 January 2013

1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6

Wow I've had a busy week of netball, basketball and football! I've just been to parents evening and I now have time to actually sit down, read some blogs and relax.. While trollin' on the internet I found that the River Island Spring preview had been released. I have to say I wasn't particularly impressed with what I saw. Above are my favourite pieces. I'd definitely buy numbers 1 and 2 because they have spring written all over them, floral print and really cute. I like the vintage look number 3 has especially. I always like River Island bags but barely ever buy them, I'm not too sure on the quality because they seem to not last very long before they break, but I do really like number 6. The colours are really calm.

If you want to view the spring collection you can do so right HERE.
